ADRENALINE BUY THEIR FIRST SHOW A HEART FILLY
It’s been a goal of Adrenaline’s to own a horse sired by Show A Heart – one of the most outstanding Queensland horses by race track performance and stud record. And this filly is not just any Show A Heart – her breeding is impeccable and the filly has the physical presence to suggest she may run early.
Show A Heart was a Group 1 winner at two, three and four years of age, beating the best in Australia at the highest level. He made a strong start to his stud career and the horses progeny have earned more than $38.1 million and is the sire of Group 1 winners Heart of Dreams (Australian Guineas and Underwood Stakes), Toorak Toff (Golden Rose and Invitation Stakes), and Woorim (Oakleigh Plate). He has also sired Group winners Mimi Lebrock (Magic Millions 2yo Classic, Tristarc Stakes and the Let’s Elope Stakes), Luke’s Luck (Karrakatta Plate & West Australian Sires’ Produce Stakes), Vo Heart (Champagne Classic), Rightfully Yours (T.S. Carlyon Cup), Gotta Have Heart (Victoria Hcp & Sandwon Stakes) and I’m Your Venus (NZ CJC Easter Cup). All in all Show A Heart has sired 445 individual winners from 662 runners, a winner to runner ratio of 67.2%, that include 28 stakes and another 21 stakes placegetters. Show A Heart was Australia’s Champion First Season Sire (2005-06), then the horse was crowned Champion Second Season Sire (2006-07). He won the New Zealand Champion 2YO Sire (2006-07) and last season the son of Brave Warrior once again claimed Queensland’s Leading Sire honours.
Pekan Flight has a terrific dam record so far – five to race for four winners, with three of her progeny performing at metropolitan level. My Son (by Hawk Wing) was sold to Singapore where he has won nine races and placed eight times, including at stakes level (Sin-2), and earned more than $425,000 in prize money. Tom’s Luck (by Bradbury’s Luck) a winner of five races with 13-placings. Pekan Flight has also produced a full sister to this filly – Hearts’N’Diamonds a winner of three races and seven placings and has beaten Fire Up Fifi (Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter) and Fillydelphia (Group 3 winner).
The facts
NOT ENOUGH? This filly has striking strength and a fluid and definite action. Her growth plates are nearly closed, meaning she has a great chance to run this season as Adrenaline believe this filly is an asset for their stable and is genrating nice interest.
The syndicate and fillies career will be managed by Adrenaline Thoroughbreds.

He signed off the 2014-15 season with 95 winners that earned connections more than four million. With his career winners growing to 634 they include stakes wins with stable stars Temple of Boom (Group 1 winner with over $1.8 million prize money), Spirit of Boom (dual Group 1 winner with over $2.4 million prize money) and Listen Son (more than $600,000 prize money).
Tony brings the knowledge of generations to his training practices. He learned from his father, thoroughbred trainer Darryl Gollan, and was mentored by the late JJ Atkins (Australian Racing Hall of Fame trainer).
Originally from Toowoomba, Tony relocated his Darling Downs stable to Eagle Farm in 2012 and industry insiders were quick to notice his advanced training capabilities and potential. Radio TAB thoroughbred caller David Fowler tipped Tony to be “the next big thing in Queensland racing”.
Veteran racing journalist Bart Sinclair said, “Rarely have I been so confident about a young trainer rising through the ranks to stake a claim as a leader in his chosen career.” His success during the 2013-14 season proved those high expectations were justified.
Tony’s recent training achievements include:
Adrenaline Thoroughbred Syndications are impressed by Tony’s detailed knowledge of his horses and their competitors, his candid performance appraisals, and his generosity towards owners.
