LOVE CONQUERS ALL @ ADRENALINE
The 2015 Gold Coast Yearling Sale saw big spending by vendors, on the back of a 20% increase in QTIS bonus prize money which was accompanied by the announcement the 2016 Magic Millions race day was going to be Australia’s richest race meeting with $10 million up for grabs.
Adrenaline believe this colt looks like an ideal QTIS horse, with a genuine opportunity to make it to the track this racing season with great scope to excel at three and four years as well.
The colt has all the hallmarks of a sprinter / miler: a well-developed shoulder and forearm, muscular hindquarters, and strength across his back. Love Conquers All excelled from age three and they expect this colt to further furnish into a fantastic physical type. As a graduate of the Magic Millions sale, the colt is eligible for the 2YO Magic Millions Classic ($2.5 million) and a lifetime of races exclusive to Magic Millions purchases.
This colt is Adrenaline’s type of racehorse and they were thrilled to pick up one of the value buys at the competitive January sale. The colts movement is loose, clean and direct, as you can see in the video (click here). The colt rated highly with Adreanline on conformation and they can’t wait to watch the colt mature. The breeding – Love Conquers All (ex Social Register) – points to some fun in naming him too.…
Adrenaline are aiming to give the colt every chance to get him to the track this season as they stalk the early 2YO races as the colt is forward in development and was broken in during February at Washpool Lodge.
Washpool Lodge is a well-appointed, professional facility who broke in Shocking and was trusted to spell and pre-train Black Caviar after winning the BTC Cup.
Queensland has an abundance of 2YO races in which the colt can gain experience and this will provide a great opportunity to earn the requisite prize money to qualify for the rich 2016 Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
NOT ENOUGH? Now broken-in the colt has developed nicely with Michael and Paul from Adrenaline impressed with the work the bay has coped with. Gollan Racing have confirmed the bay is a likely early runner and is currently in pre-traing at Bahram and will be heading down to Eagle Farm in the coming weeks. Only a few shares remain as Adreanline and Bollan believe the colt could be ready to race before the year is out.
The syndicate and colt’s career will be managed by AdrenalineThoroughbreds
Tony Gollan claimed another Brisbane metropolitan trainers’ premiership chalking up 79 winners to claim the 2014-15 honours a year after winning is first.
He signed off the 2014-15 season with 95 winners that earned connections more than four million. With his career winners growing to 634 they include stakes wins with stable stars Temple of Boom (Group 1 winner with over $1.8 million prize money), Spirit of Boom (dual Group 1 winner with over $2.4 million prize money) and Listen Son (more than $600,000 prize money).
Tony brings the knowledge of generations to his training practices. He learned from his father, thoroughbred trainer Darryl Gollan, and was mentored by the late JJ Atkins (Australian Racing Hall of Fame trainer).
Originally from Toowoomba, Tony relocated his Darling Downs stable to Eagle Farm in 2012 and industry insiders were quick to notice his advanced training capabilities and potential. Radio TAB thoroughbred caller David Fowler tipped Tony to be “the next big thing in Queensland racing”.
Veteran racing journalist Bart Sinclair said, “Rarely have I been so confident about a young trainer rising through the ranks to stake a claim as a leader in his chosen career.”His success in the 2013-14 season proves these high expectations were justified.
Tony’s recent training achievements include:
Adrenaline Thoroughbred Syndications have been impressed by Tony’s detailed knowledge of his horses and their competitors, his candid performance appraisals, and his generosity towards owners.
