Mark Kavanagh has had a meteoric rise to become one of Australia's leading trainers. Originally a jumps jockey Mark branched out to be a trainer based in Mt Gambier and then later in Adelaide. In 2007 Mark opened a stable at Flemington and enjoyed immediate success that Spring with Divine Madonna, Maldivian and Devil Moon all wining at Group One level.
