Lucky Clover to Love All

Love Conquers All Filly to Edmonds Racing

The TTSC Racehorse Syndication Service has shares in this filly by Love Conquers All a young sire that has the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes and Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas winner, Savanna Amour among his best performed three-year-olds.

As a racehorse Love Conquers All was trained by John Hawkes, and he thought enough of the two-year-olds talent to kick off his career in the Group 2 STC Silver Slipper Stakes. Hawkes then sent Love Conquers All off to the paddock to develop and brought the colt back into work to break his maiden at his first-run back as a three-year-old.

At the bays third career start the son of Mossman won the Listed City Tattersalls Club Brian Crowley Stakes over 1200 m. in 2009. Love Conquers All continued to improve and won the Listed AJC June Stakes over 1100 m. in 2010 and the Group 3 Missile Stakes over 1200 m., as a four-year-old in August.

Love Conquers All raced through the spring and finished runner-up in the 2011 Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200 m.) when defeated by Centennial Park. The horse ran a blinder, finishing second to top class mare, More Joyous in the 2011 Group 2 Canterbury Stakes (1300 m). At his next run in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes the tough-seasoned galloper Rangirangdoo defeated him by a short-half-head.

Standing at Sun Stud, last spring Love Conquers All covered 111 mares for an advertised fee of $13,750.00 (inc. GST) with his oldest foals in their classic year the horses overall statistic’s, June 15th 2017, from 48-starters, the horse has 25 individual winners that's a winner to runner ratio of 52.1% with earnings of more than $1.5million.

Trainer Details

Gold Coast trainer Toby Edmonds studied under the best in the business - and the numbers show he hasn't let go of anything he learned. In his formative years, Edmonds worked for trainers like Neville Begg and Peter Snowden, and he’s since operated successfully in situations that were sometimes less than ideal.

Season-after-season his stable's performance has improved to the point where 2016-17 seems certain to be his best ever as the Edmonds Gold Coast stable sent out Houtzen to win the Restricted Listed Magic Millions juvenile.

Houtzen crossed from the widest barrier to lead and hold on to win by a half-length, giving Edmonds his biggest triumph. Edmonds backed his judgement instructing the rider Jeff Lloyd, to ride Houtzen to ‘tried-and-true tactics’.

Edmonds, currently sits in second spot on the Queensland metropolitan premiership ensuring returns keep flowing to owners on the back of a strong 2015-2016 for the Gold Coast stable when he saddled-up 57 individual winners banking connections $1,762,815 a best ever result from 15-seasons of under his banner. This season will easily eclipse that mark.

For Edmonds the success of the current season comes after a lifetime's involvement with horses - by his early teens he knew where his future lay and took the opportunity to learn from Begg then later from Snowden.

Edmonds duly took out a licence in 1988, beginning with a team of six at Scone and within a couple of years he'd unearthed a handy colt called Bay Splendid who won three of his first four starts for the trainer training on to another eight races. Other notable winners from the early days include Troyvic; Northern Star; Chappel Dancer (winner of Listed Townsville Cup & Rockhampton Cup’s); Conquering Queen a winner of five races including the 2009 Listed Queensland Tattersalls Classic.

In 1994 Edmonds moved to the Gold Coast and six years later became the private trainer for Pedrille Thoroughbreds before again moving out on his own at Warwick Farm in 2003 where he trained until 2009. He then took a break from training during which time he became Queensland foreman for Patinack Farm.

His latest stint as a public trainer began in 2011 and the winners have flowed freely ever since.

Among Edmond's most staunch clients has been Segenhoe Stud for whom he trained 24 winners during one 12-month period. Some of his better recent performers to carry the Segenhoe colours include Breakfast In Bed who won more than $300,000, Mr. Lebrock (five wins and more than $160,000), Sagaronne (runner-up in the 2015 Group 1 J.J. Atkins Stakes), Always Sacred (Group 3 placed), Queen Tara and Swerve.

Along with Houzten, Edmonds saddled up the Hinchinbrook gelding The Virginian to win the Listed Chief de Beers Stakes in May, this along with his reputation for successfully resurrecting the careers of cast-offs like - Our Boy Nicholas a prolific winner that has earned more than $300,000 and Ike's Legacy a horse that was passed on to him by David Van Dyke.

Edmonds has 37 boxes in his comprehensively equipped stable adjacent to the Gold Coast racetrack.
